Practice Management is a distance learning program. It aims to help members evaluate and make an informed decision regarding entering public practice, including the role and responsibilities of a public practitioner in the enhancement of both the quality and efficiency of services they provide.
To enrol in Practice Management you must be a CPA or FCPA.
How to enrol
To enrol in Practice Management, download a copy of the enrolment form (available during the enrolment period). Fill in all details and forward the form with your payment to Member Administration by the enrolment closing date. The enrolment fee includes enrolment in the exam held in the same semester as the enrolment, unless the enrolment is for reference purposes (no exam).
Cancelling your enrolment
If you have enrolled in Practice Management and decide you no longer wish to continue, or are unable to continue, in the program, you can cancel your enrolment at any time up to the advertised closing date each semester.
A refund of the enrolment fee will only be issued if the application to cancel an enrolment is received by CPA Australia by the early bird enrolment closing date.
The closing date to apply to cancel your enrolment has now passed. Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
Deferring your exam
If you wish to postpone your exam, rather than cancel your enrolment, you may be able to defer the exam to the following semester. An exam deferral fee will be payable for all deferral applications received by CPA Australia. An exam deferral is to the next semester only. For further information read changing your exam arrangements.
